Founding Attorney
Dominic LoVerde is the founder of LoVerde Law, LLC, a Chicago-based, nationally-recognized personal injury firm focusing on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. He represents clients in cases involving defective and dangerous products, construction injuries, truck crashes, medical negligence, sex abuse, unsafe property conditions, civil rights violations, and on corporate fraud and complex commercial litigation disputes. He has a relentless work ethic, and a successful track record for achieving record-breaking results for his clients.

He is selective with his clients and cases to ensure meticulous attention to detail, always prepared and never outworked.
Dominic's integrity and work ethic has enabled him to successfully obtain numerous verdicts and settlements for personal injury victims throughout the country, and is reported to be one of the youngest attorneys in Illinois to serve as lead trial counsel to obtain a multi-million dollar verdict. For example, Mr. LoVerde helped recover a $50 million settlement, $20.8 million trucking and aiding and abetting settlement, $10.45 million verdict for medical negligence, $8.45 million product liability settlement, $3.03 million verdict for pharmaceutical negligence, $7.5 million trucking settlement, $2.6 million trucking settlement, $1.35 million medical negligence settlement, and $1 million trucking settlement. In addition, he helped secure a $108 million settlement against a corporation for securities fraud violations, a $29.5 million settlement against a company for antitrust violations, and a $150,000 jury verdict for a client who was injured by unsafe property conditions. Several of his results are among the Top 10 and Top 20 verdicts and settlements in Illinois, and also a Top 50 settlement in the United States.

Professional Associations & Memberships

Mr. LoVerde has received numerous awards and recognitions for his work. He has been recognized by his peers as a Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Lawyer; U.S. News Best Lawyers One To Watch; National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40 civil plaintiff trial lawyers; Super Lawyers Rising Star; and an Illinois Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers. In 2021, he received the “Above & Beyond” award from the American Association for Justice for his continued efforts of service to the organization and to protecting to Seventh Amendment. In 2022, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Association for his continued efforts and to protecting those who are injured. In 2024, he was selected to join the Melvin Belli Society, an invitation-only national organization of plaintiff trial lawyers dedicated to the principles of trial advocacy and education on an international basis.

He has a robust pro bono practice representing victims of civil rights claims through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights. He also serves as a Board Member for the Concussion Legacy Foundation, Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, and Lawyers Lend-A-Hand, an organization that uses the legal community’s resources to assist and support disadvantaged youth in disadvantaged Chicago communities. Mr. LoVerde teaches trial advocacy through national programs, and regularly presents and publishes articles for bar association journals and legal publications regarding personal injury, complex litigation, and trial techniques.

Mr. LoVerde is a 4th generation Chicagoan, born and raised on Chicago’s south side. He takes great pride in holding wrongful conduct accountable to balance the scales of justice to create a safer and more just society. He is a tenacious advocate with extensive experience in trials and navigating the courtroom on high stakes cases. He is also a fourth-generation member of the Laborers union, and has extensive experience representing injured workers and the labor community. He is uncompromising and relentless in his work ethic for every single client, fighting to recover full value and a successful result no matter the circumstances. Outside of law, Dominic is a devoted husband and father to his wife and two daughters.
