Katie Faught is a personal injury attorney at LoVerde Law, LLC, focusing on transportation collisions, premises liability, product liability, asbestos, mesothelioma, and medical negligence cases. Katie is exceptionally thorough for every client she represents, providing compassionate, thoughtful, and aggressive advocacy on each and every case. Before joining LoVerde Law, LLC, Katie worked for a prominent Chicago personal injury firm where she gained immense experience in personal injury, asbestos, mesothelioma, and sexual abuse litigation.
Prior to that, Katie served as a judicial law clerk for the Circuit Court of Cook County with Hon. Judge Marguerite Quinn, Hon. Judge Lorna Propes, and Hon. Judge Kathy Flanagan. Katie's approach to personal injury cases stems from the foundational knowledge she gained as a judicial law clerk.
Katie's distinct experiences from her prior personal injury firm, and as a judicial law clerk, provides her with a unique skillset valuable to LoVerde Law, LLC. Her competitive spirit drives her advocacy on behalf of those who are wrongfully injured.
Katie earned her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago, where she was also a NCAA Division I Athlete for the Womens Basketball Team.
Outside the courtroom, Katie volunteers with her golden retriever, Jamie, a certified therapy dog, for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Misericordia Heart of Mercy. Together they visit and interact with patients to facilitate healing and rehabilitation in a therapeutic setting. Jamie helps patients and their families cope with challenging medical situations, procedures, and stress that they may experience during a hospital stay.
Katie also serves as a mentor to first generation law students for the Diversity Scholarship Program, NFP. This program brings together judges and attorneys with first generation law students in order to provide students with the opportunity to network, ask questions, and learn from attorneys.

Karla is a proud graduate of Richard J. Daley College where she was named the valedictorian of her graduating class and received an Associate of Arts degree in English. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, reading, and writing short stories.

She brings a unique blend of agency and in-house experience, with a sharp eye for storytelling, design, and audience engagement. Her experience with high-profile brands and consumer-facing events translates seamlessly into creating authentic, compelling campaigns in the legal field.

Faith is entering her second year at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she is actively involved in the Student Bar Association and serves on the Criminal Law Mock Trial Team. She earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Law, Justice, and Public Policy.
